Dr. David Farst
Dr. David Farst purchased Arcanum Veterinary Service Inc. in 1979 from Dr. D.L. Cox, after moving from Shelby County, Ohio. He grew up in Hamilton, Ohio, and after receiving a degree in agriculture from The Ohio State University, continued his education at The OSU College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1979. After living in Jackson Center and Botkins for four years, Dr. Farst and his wife, Ava, moved to Arcanum. Their three children, Stephanie Hamilton, Emily Bice, and Kevin Farst, are now on their own leaving only the two dachsunds, Lucy and Baby, at home. |

Dr. David Hayes
Dr. David Hayes was graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of science degree in 1971, and in 1976 graduated as a doctor of veterinary medicine. After owning his own practice for 22 1/2 years, he now works part time for Dr. Farst at the Arcanum Veterinary Service Inc. |
